Solutions Consultant, Customer Success

You’re passionate about the way people use software. More than that: you think it can be better by focusing on the people who use it. You love consumer social tools – like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Medium – and you wish people could use them at work. You love user experience and providing the creative solutions to your clients needs.

Our Solutions Consulting team is looking for someone who wants to change the way people work together. As a consultant, your role is to get to know our clients: who they are, how they work today, the business pains they are having and how they want to work in the future. You’ll then architect the right intranet solution through a mix of customer research and validation; creating information architecture and taxonomy; and implementation, which can include gathering business requirements, crafting site structure documentation, and coming up with new solutions on the Igloo platform to help customers. 

Your focus will be on helping new customers go from contract to launch, but sometimes you’ll be asked to demo your solution during pre-sales, including some on-site visits, for companies from the mid-market to the Fortune 500.

Key responsibilities

  • Guide our clients through consultation sessions
  • Recommend solutions & functions during all stages of the customer lifecycle
  • Run live demos of our product to various audiences
  • Configure Igloo “on the fly” to do new things and craft a better story for our customer
  • Problem solve with customers, suggest best practices for architecture, design, user experience, and even adapt their processes for a modern way of doing things
  • Create Site Structure documents based on client’s needs
  • Draft wireframes of suggested solutions to demo to the customer
  • Working closely with sales, account manager, client services and other teams to deliver best in class product

Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • 3+ years working in digital technologies, user experience or product design
  • 3-year diploma or degree in computer science, technology, media or design
  • Strong understanding of technology and how people use it
  • Strong communications skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to problem solve on the fly
  • Ability to pick up new software rapidly and evolve skills constantly
  • A tendency to think, innovate, evolve and iterate
  • Familiar with user experience
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript languages
  • Social media guru
