The IGLOO API is an external programming interface for accessing community content using HTTP and XML.  The API makes it easy to create web applications that integrate with your cloud-based community solution. Application uses include:

1. Creating custom import/export tools (Salesforce, CSV, etc.)
2. Community content analysis and reporting
3. Mobile device integration
4. Third party application integrations such as MS Windows Explorer, files systems, MS Outlook, Open Source and enterprise applications
