Data Centre

The IGLOO data centre offers world class hosting and managed services to our growing customer base. It is connected directly to one of the fastest internet backbones and is equipped with redundant UPS modules, diesel power backup, clean agent fire suppression, and multiple diverse fibre connections.

Power

Power system includes triple feeds to each rack, sourced from multiple redundant UPS modules which are backed up by a 350KW Cummins diesel genset.

Climate Control

The data centre is cooled by an industry-standard Liebert HVAC unit which uses the raised floor and vented tiles to duct the cold air to the front of the racks where it is needed.

Fire Suppression

An environmentally friendly, non-toxic clean agent fire suppression system known as Inergen. This equipment-safe solution is based on inert gases which continue to provide cooling to the equipment while displacing the oxygen and stopping the fire.

Security

A concentric security model is fundamental to the operation of the data centre. 24 hour security guards and fully manned redundant NOCs .

Networking

The facility includes diverse, redundant fibre connections to multiple network carriers to ensure continuous connectivity in the event that a fibre cable is cut.
