We've made some significant improvements to your profile options, including the addition of new fields, new functionality and newly exposed data. You can now use profiles to:

Upgrade and Release Details
1. Blogs: For usability and clarity we have repositioned Blogs as "Channels". This change in terminology will affect related actions, including the following:
- Starting a blog is now "Add Channel"
- Adding an article to the selected channel remains "Add Article"

WYSIWYG Upgrades
Div tags and cell boarders: The Editor Toolbar has a new action which allows you to toggle between visual aids. The new icon is located to the left of the HTML icon and is set to active by default.
Toggling this tool will expose all div and cell borders used in the HTML code. If there are div or table cells in the editable content area, they will display as faint dotted lines (see below).
Preview button: We've added a Preview button to the bottom right corner of the editor.
The preview displays not only the editable content but the
other content on the page as well (see below).
This release included some minor updates to the Control Panel making it easier to use as well as adding more views for the user.
This release contained some minor updates to our Web2.0 platform which include:
- Default
- Detailed and
- All Thumbs.

Pulse is a new feature that displays the ‘pulse' or most recent items added to your community, including:

- Gallery Images
- Blog Articles
Documents
What's New displays the item added and the most recent contributors, making it simple and straightforward for community members and managers to view the latest items added to your community.

Application Updates:
- Broadcasts - announcements were transformed to a blog application, giving communities more freedom in broadcasting community and individual messaging
- All core applications (Workarea, Calendar, Forums, Member Directory and Gallery) received style and functionality upgrades that brought each of them more into the web 2.0 methodology
Web Addresses:
- Domains have been sub-domained to give customers a more varied choice for their community web address
