IGLOO prides itself on our system reliability and dependability. Some customers are experiencing intermittent issues with search.

Summary:

  • Some customers are reporting intermittant issues when searching within their community.

Problem Resolution:

  • We recommend that you check the following: 
    • End users - try repeating your search

The IGLOO technical team is investigating and testing other potential causes.

Next Steps:

  • IGLOO Customer Support will continue to update this blog as new information becomes available.

Updates:

  • July 22 - Improvements have been made that mitigate the issue but don't entirely resolve it.  We are continuing to investigate this issue.

 


IGLOO prides itself on our system reliability and dependability. Some customers are experiencing intermittent issues with document upload.

Summary:

  • Some customers (not all) are reporting a time out error when trying to upload documents. 

Problem Resolution:

  • We recommend that you check the following:
    1. Contact your internet provider to see if they are experiencing any bandwidth issues.
    2. Try uploading single documents rather then using the multiple file upload feature.

The IGLOO technical team is investigating and testing potential causes.

IGLOO prides itself on our system reliability and dependability. Some customers are experiencing intermittent issues with community invitations and registrations.

Summary:

  • Some customers are reporting that they are not receiving their emial registration confirmation emails and/or email invitations.

Problem Resolution:

  • We believe that some the problem is due to some overzealous email spam filters at our customer sites. We recommend that you check the following: 
    1.  IT managers - check your email spam filter rules
    2. End users - check your "Junk Folder" in your email client for emails from IGLOO Inc. or the Community Owner

The IGLOO technical team is also investigating and testing other potential causes.

Wednesday June 25, 2008 Maintenance Window

Every Wednesday we have a maintenance window when we do system upgrades, performance improvements and various other things that allow us to improve our offerings. As stated in my previous blog, these generally go un-noticed by our customers however this evening there will be some improvements that require our services to be offline for approximately 30 minutes between 8pm and 9pm EST.

Wednesday Maintenance Window's

We have regular maintenance windows every Wednesday evening between 7pm and midnight EST.  Usually these go un-noticed by our customers however in the event that customers will see any service interruption we will post a technical bulletin.
