February 1, 2011 – IGLOO Software, a leading provider of social intranet and extranet solutions, announced record growth in 2010 in terms of total revenue, customer acquisitions and subscription licenses.

Heightened Demand for Enterprise Social Software and Cloud Solutions Drive Growth

February 1, 2011 (Kitchener, ON) - - IGLOO Software, a leading provider of social intranet and extranet solutions, announced record growth in 2010 in terms of total revenue, customer acquisitions and subscription licenses. Total bookings grew 171%, total revenue 120%, subscription licenses 140% and the company added 70 new clients to their customer base.

IGLOO's customers use the integrated community suite to deploy social intranet and extranet solutions within their organization. Typical customer deployments include more than one community which can be networked together, such as an intranet, website and customer portal. According to a recent report from McKinsey, The Rise of the Networked Enterprise - Web 2.0 Finds its Payday, highly networked organizations captured a broad set of benefits, including gains in market share, profits and market leadership.

"2010 was a very successful year for the company on all fronts," said Dan Latendre, CEO of IGLOO Software. "Our success is based around one simple belief - enterprise software should be as easy to use as the applications we use at home. That means we place a premium on innovation and the customer listening programs and agile delivery framework which supports that. With a customer retention rate over 98%, and 6 major product releases, we must be doing something right."

Customer & Partner Growth: IGLOO Goes Global
IGLOO set a record for customer growth in 2010, not just in North America but abroad, with a 10% increase in customers internationally. Thomson Reuters Aranzadi, WTA Tour, W.R. Grace, Drug Information Association and the United Negro College Fund were just some of the organizations that deployed a social intranet or extranet in the cloud. Almost 25% of revenue growth was driven by the channel thanks to strong alliance, referral and technology partner programs, including a partnership with one of the largest IT distributors in the world - SYNNEX Corporation.

Product Development: 2010 Roadmap
IGLOO rolled out a number of major product updates throughout the year. An integrated sub-community offering, called Group Spaces, allows users to instantly self-organize around specific projects, teams and even departments. Each space includes a series of self-contained social applications, such as blogs, document repositories, and wikis, which can be used to organize, manage and collaborate around content. Building upon the notion of collaborative content management, IGLOO also unveiled the ability to edit documents inline, broadcast on all corporate channels, filter and follow content and integrate a community calendar using the .ics (iCalendar) standard. IGLOO also enhanced the community search functionality adding a collection of easy to use filters.

Industry Recognition: Notable Mentions
Outside of a rapidly growing customer base, IGLOO received significant market validation from pundits, analysts and industry experts alike. IGLOO was positioned in the 2010 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Social Software in the Workplace, named a Trend-Setter in Online Communities by KM World, a CRN Emerging Technology Vendor by Everything Channel and Martin Butler Research ranked the IGLOO platform as 'Superior' in their book Enterprise Social Networking and Collaboration.
