In a region that is considered a technology hub, the closest thing to 'Silicon Valley North' and home to the makers of the BlackBerry, IGLOO was recognized as a standout in innovation. Quite the honour!

IGLOO accepted the Innovation Award at the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce annual Business Excellence Awards Gala held on Thursday, February 17, 2011 in Kitchener. With 63 nominees in 11 different categories, the Business Excellence Awards Gala highlights companies and individuals that have made exceptional contributions to the community. In the case of IGLOO, excellence was achieved through the creation of an innovative product that has resulted in a significant and measurable impact on local business as well as the community at large.

Our work with organizations like Green Grass One (one of the Profit 100 fastest-growing companies in Canada), BlackBerry Partners Fund™, HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre and the Waterloo Region Manufacturing Innovation Network (MIN) formed the basis for the nomination.
