2010 Legacies Now - Infusion: Arts in Education2010 Legacies Now is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening arts, literacy, sport and healthy living, accessibility and volunteerism in communities across British Columbia, Canada. The organization was created in 2000 to support Vancouver's bid for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Now that the Winter Games are complete, 2010 Legacies Now is dedicated to continuing to develop communities in the region through targeted initiatives. One such initiative is the Infusion: Arts in Education project, an educational program that uses the arts to enrich the learning experience for students and the delivery of school curriculum for teachers. 2010 Legacies Now already hosts two online communities: a Community of Practice for the arts and sport sectors, and the Community of Literacy Practice for literacy practitioners and supporters. A third Infusion: Arts in Education community, powered by IGLOO, will be created to bring together K12 arts teachers to share best practices, curriculum materials and ideas.

ALIADAALIADA is a Canadian based company who works exclusively with associations in Mexico. They turned to IGLOO in order to upgrade multiple communities over the coming months, each focusing on a different sector in health care. The first community called Seguridad más Tecnología (S+T) focuses on connecting emergency response professionals in Mexico to facilitate conversation, transfer best practices and share expertise specifically around the use of technology in emergency management. With this initial foray into Mexico, the IGLOO platform will now offer Spanish in the upcoming release. |
