Ontario Health Quality Council (OHQC)The Ontario Health Quality Council (OHQC), an independent agency funded by the Government of Ontario, provides independent and objective reporting on the performance of the health system in the province. One program that they manage is called Residents First (http://www.residentsfirst.ca/) - a long-term care initiative that is designed to improve the quality of care for seniors. The initiative is a four-year project that brings together long-term care homes to share best practices and principles in the elimination of pressure ulcers.
